 FAQs

  • As of now, our retreats cost $85 for students. This covers their stay, 5 meals and typically a sick shirt.

  • We do not! Currently, we partner with Camp Highlander in Mills River, NC for our Fall retreat and Garden City Chapel Retreat near Myrtle Beach, SC for our Spring retreat.

  • Yes. However, we will put you to work! All the leaders on our retreats are volunteers. We mostly encourage recent college grads to serve on our retreat, but the more volunteers we have the better.

  • Absolutely! We have options for all group sizes. If your group is less than 25 students then they can just register for a retreat individually. If your group size exceeds 25 we’d love to hear from you!

    If your group is 60+ then we would love to work with you and do a retreat just for you!

  • REFUGE RETREAT INC is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.

  • Everything belongs to the Lord. When you give, your money is helping us accomplish the mission of unifying a generation of college students to be disciple-making followers of Jesus. The Dream Big Campaign is a fundraiser for The Refuge Retreat to build their own retreat center.

  • Yes. We are accountable to a Board of Directors that meets regularly throughout the year. One of our Board members is a professional CPA, which is a great benefit for us.

    We currently do not have staff, but contact us if you are interested in getting involved!

  • We get this question a lot. Our biggest ask is that you believe in our mission and join the movement. By joining the movement you are committing to pray, donate, and share. Pray for us daily. Donate to the mission God has given. Share the story of Refuge Retreat.

  • Our retreats are catered to 18-25 year olds. If you fall in that range then come on!

    If you’re older than 25 and interested then we’d love to have you volunteer.
